Overview of the position
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the allocated DSF program. The coordinator’s role is to supervise and support all of the various projects within the specific program, right from conception through to execution and management.
Role and responsibilities
- Manage online postings for a new program with the marketing team
- Work with leadership to strategize programs that meet the mission and objectives
- Review and filter applicants
- Coordinate with jury panel members for applicant evaluation and selection
- Monitor and evaluate projects progress and bottlenecks
- Cultivate and maintain regular communication, through email, phone, and regular meetings between all program participants
Skills good to have:
- Experience of working in the journalism field (not mandatory)
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Work without daily direct on-ground supervision

Marketing & Communications
Volunteer Role: Marketing & Communications Lead

Overview of the position
The Marketing & Communications is responsible for managing the digital marketing campaign. The lead will work on social media and web channels to drive traffic through organic and inorganic marketing.
Role and responsibilities
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
- Manage organization’s website
- Optimize content for the website and social networking channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Work on SEO of the website pages
- Promote foundation’s programs and services in the digital space.
- Execute social media efforts to improve KPIs, likes, shares, tweets, etc.
Skills good to have:
- Experience of working in journalism field (not mandatory)
- Knowledge of digital marketing, paid advertising and PPC optimization
- Analytical and data-driven mindset

Volunteer Role: Graphic Design Lead

Overview of the position
The Graphic Design Lead is responsible for creating creative assets and editing videos. The lead will alongside the marketing team to ideate and create captivating assets
Role and responsibilities
- Design creative assets brochures, annual report theme layouts, web design elements, flyers and images accompanying social media content
- Work on multi format creative set for brochures, banners and book covers
- Collect the needs and the requirements from marketing team
Skills:
- Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography

- Produce compelling video content for DSF’s social media platform
- Post production – Assist with editing video content for the organization.
- Editing and enhancing video content.
- Experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements
Skills:
- Ability to deliver production-ready videos for YouTube and other channels
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with media content editing software.

The Lead Fundraiser will help the foundation in fundraising with new ideas and approaches
Role and responsibilities
- Generate new ideas and business opportunities to increase fundraising
- Establish ongoing fundraising programs
- Research potential donors and foundations to identify and evaluate potential funding sources
